Tina and her family left Africa in 1982 for Toronto Canada, where she finished college, married and left for the States in 1990. Following a career in advertising then sales and marketing within a corporate environment, Tina followed her dream of working within a creative environment. Leaving her career to pursue her own business venture, she launched "Cid Pear stationery" in 2004 which brought much exposure in the world of art and design, producing design textiles, gift products and other paper products for various companies around the world.
Tina paints in watercolor and inks; her characters and surface designs are found on products including stationery and gift items such as glass, ceramics, textiles and sewing patterns.
As a designer, Tina crafts unique product ideas and packaging for a wide variety of products and clients. She has loved design from childhood and manages an amazing cottage industry within the Carolinas, working with women crafting beautiful apparel and accessory collections which ship worldwide. Tina's textile design encompasses her childhood memories of Africa as well as multi-cultural inspiration, while drawing from her everyday travels and life experiences.”
